Delivery Driver, GTA

Shoot Delivery is looking for reliable owner-drivers to help with local deliveries across the Greater Toronto Area.

We work with businesses that need dependable last-mile delivery, including e-commerce stores, meal prep companies, grocery businesses, pet food brands, florists, pharmacies, and other local companies. The work is varied, practical, and customer-facing, so we are looking for drivers who are careful, professional, and good at getting things delivered on time.

This is a contractor role, so you will use your own vehicle and manage your own running costs. It could suit someone who already has delivery experience, knows the GTA well, and wants flexible delivery work with a local logistics company.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll collect and deliver customer orders across the GTA, following delivery instructions carefully and keeping communication clear if anything changes on the road.

Day to day, this may include:

• Picking up orders from local businesses
• Delivering parcels, food, groceries, flowers, or other items to customers
• Following route details and delivery instructions
• Handling items carefully, especially food, flowers, or fragile goods
• Keeping customers and the Shoot Delivery team updated when needed
• Representing Shoot Delivery in a professional and friendly way

What we’re looking for

We are looking for drivers who are dependable, polite, and comfortable working independently.

You’ll need:

• Your own reliable vehicle
• A valid driver’s licence for the vehicle you drive
• Current vehicle registration and insurance
• At least $1 million CAD in third-party liability insurance
• Good knowledge of the GTA
• A clean, safe, well-maintained vehicle
• A mobile phone you can use for delivery updates and communication
• A professional approach with customers and businesses

Delivery experience is helpful, especially if you have worked in courier, last-mile, food, grocery, e-commerce, or local business delivery before.

What this role is like

This is hands-on delivery work. You’ll be trusted to manage your route, follow instructions, communicate clearly, and make sure orders reach customers safely and on time.

You should be comfortable driving around the GTA, dealing with traffic, finding addresses, carrying items when needed, and solving small problems as they come up.

Important details

This is an owner-driver contractor role. Drivers are hired as T4A contractors, not employees, and are responsible for their own taxes, fuel, maintenance, insurance, and vehicle costs.

Work is for GTA-area deliveries only.
